It's more about finding the best Paris cafés to suit your mood, and lastly your budget. A great Paris eighbourhood to enjoy a drink on the terrace or on the pavement is Saint Germain-desPrés, which has some classic places that have survived the tests of time and passing fashions. Also good for a quiet drink are the places around rue Gaité in Montparnasse, a bit off the traditional Paris tourist trail.
