Paris Plage café
"Paris Plage" has been bringing a summer time beach vibe to the banks of the Seine since 2001. Running for 1 month, from the last week in July until the end of August. Sun-starved Parisians who can't make it to the coast can chill on the river bank, complete with sand and deckchairs! You can also find a number of beach-style cafés set up near the urban beach. In 2008, "Paris Plage" is located at Voie Georges Pompidou in the 4th district, and at Bassin de la Villette in the 19th.
