Every July tonnes of sand are loaded onto a bank of the River Seine and the unique project ‘Paris Plage’ (Paris beach) begins. This animated beach in the heart of the city has a 28-metre swimming pool where people can splash happily in the cool water. The first Parisian beach is usually located on the right bank of the river, between Louvre and Pont de Sully (Sully Bridge) and the second is usually settled in Port de la Gare.
