Flower market île St Louis
Flower market île St Louis

In the beautiful River Seine in Paris, France there are two big islands – Ile Saint Louis and Ile de la Cite. Ile Saint Louis is named after the King of France Louis IX and it was built in the 17th century.

To visit this charming island in Paris you can use the bridges to both banks of the River Seine. It is also connected to Ile de la Cite by the famous Pont Saint Louis.

The island is a peaceful and nice spot in Paris where you can relax far away from the city noises. You can walk along narrow streets and visit the colourful Flower Market. You can also make a stop at the traditional store Berthillon (opened in 1954 by Monsieur Berthillon) and enjoy its mouth watering home made ice creams.
