Paris in spring sees milder temperature and the chance to get out and enjoy the city's parks and waterways. Well worth a visit are Parc Monceau or the Buttes de Chaumont park,  popular with Parisians on Sundays. The central Jardins de Luxembourg is the largest green space in central Paris and offers a welcome break from the urban intensity of the city. Another popular haunt is the Canal Saint Martin.
