About Hotel de l'Aveyron |
|
Chilled , recently renovated Paris 2 star hotel combining modern facilities with traditional decor located in a laid-back corner of the pulsating 12th district of Paris, just 2 minutes' walk from Gare d'Austerlitz rail station and a few steps from the River Seine, in a lively urban area offering a wide range of leisure options on your doorstep and excellent public transport links to the whole of Paris. ...more details > Located just off the bustling Boulevard Diderot, and a short stroll from the Quai de la Rapee which runs alongside the River Seine. The area of the hotel is in pleasant contrast to the upbeat pace of the avenues and boulevards that pass though the neighbourhood, set in a down-to-earth quarter with characterful town houses, and with a good choice of cafés, bars and restaurants ranging from Indian, Chinese and Japanese to traditional French brasseries waiting to be tried out in the local area. This corner of the 12th district is perhaps one of the best-kept secrets in Paris: young, energetic, varied and decidely less "branché" than other more renowned areas of the city. The rooms of the hotel combine traditional and contemporary elements, with modern installations, wooden picture frames, ceramic tiling or parquet floors, plus stylish, contemporary fittings and fixtures. Facilities include en suite bathrooms and WC, colour TV, telephone and Wi-Fi internet connection. The furniture ranges from ornate to functional. Relax in a reception area of upholstered seats with floral motifs, replica ancient egyptian statues plus wide screen TV. Enjoy breakfast in the well-kept, cosy dining room. The nearest metros are Quai de la Rapee (line 5), Gare d'Austerlitz (line 5) and Gare de Lyon (line 1), where you can hop on the RER regional rail links to Disneyland Paris and the Bois de Vincennes for a trip out of the city. The Louvre, Chatelet, Notre Dame cathedral, Palais Royal, Montmartre and Bastille can be reached in under 10 minutes.Superb choice for all travellers - welcoming, well-maintained hotel in an upbeat area. < hide more details

The hotel is very well located but not confortable. The bathroom is tiny, five floors without a lift, and noisy in the lower rooms. |

Paris ist im Allgemeinen teuer. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber gut eingerichtet. Ruhige und zentrale Lage. Personal spricht teilweise sogar Englisch, freundlich. Für einen Kurztrip weiter zu empfehlen! |
