Hotel Bervic has a beautiful, typically Parisian facade and makes an ideal place to stay for those on a limited budget. Situated in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, a lively and cosmopolitan district, this little, unpretentious hotel allows guests to discover the remainders of bohemian Paris, as it is only five minutes away on foot from Montmartre. This neighbourhood has a village feel to it and visitors may enjoy a black coffee on one of the many cafe terraces in the area, admire the beautiful view over Paris from the Sacre Coeur church (5 minutes on foot), or spend an evening in the legendary Moulin Rouge (10 min). ...more details > The hotel is located just one minute on foot from the metro station Barbes Rochechouart (lines 4 and 2) and many bus stops too (30, 31, 85), making it easy for guests to discover all four corners of Paris, and in particular, the famous Latin neighbourhood (15 minutes by metro) and the emblematic Arc de Triomphe (20 min). L'hôtel Bervic a du nous loger dans l'hotel d'à côté car n'avait plus de chambre avec douche, malgré que ce soit ce que nous avions réservé. L'hôtel d'Angleterre, là où nous avons étét relogés, ne nous connaissait pas. Heureusement il restait une chambre de libre. Le tarif de la chambre était bien inférieur à ce qui avait été annoncé et on a pas voulu nous rembourser la diffférence.
Nous avons insisté auprès de chaque membre du personnel, mais aucun n'a été capable de nous expliquer ces modalités de paiement... |

Das Hotel war sehr hellhörig sodaß es in der Nacht durch den Verkehrlärm sehr laut war. Der Service durch das Hotelpersonal war ok. |

Nach Aussage des Vermieters war ein Fehler in der Website. Nach Zuzahlung wurde ein Zimmer angeboten , welches in Grundzügen dem Angebot der Buchung entsprach.
Nachtportier war sehr freundlich. |

There was apparently confusion over the booking and our room had not been held for us. The manager did find us a room but for the 3 nights there we moved between 2 hotels. A bit unsettling not knowing from day to day where we'd be spending the night and not able to unpack. However, give him his due he did find us somewhere, although the price varied from night to night and the last night our en-suite shower had a huge hole in the side and there was no flushing mechanism in the toilet. Having a sense of humour is an essential when staying here! |

Antes de todo aclarar que por parte del personal responsable del hotel recibimos un trato muy agradable y familiar. Pero eso no quita para dejar constancia de que la limpieza no era su fuerte, la cama estaba fatal, Las toallas rotas (!!!), el primer día dormimos en una habitación recién pintada con un olor horroroso, no tenían ninguna otra para cambiarnos. En la página no se especifica que la única ducha del hotel se encuentra en la planta tres, y que sólo hay un wc por planta. Por lo demás el emplazamiento del hotel es fantástico a menos de un minuto andando de la parada de metro y con un montón de tiendas. A cinco minutos de Montmartre. |
