The hotel is situated just 2 minutes from Gare du Nord on foot (metro lines 4,5 & 7, RER regional trains lines B & D), with the Poisonnière metro (line 7) just 200 metres away. You can get to the Opera, the Louvre, the pedestrian shopping area Les Halles and the fashionable Saint Germain in around 10 minutes. The Cite des Sciences et de l'industrie exhibitions centre is around a quarter of an hour. The hotel was completely refurbished in 1999, the rooms laid out in a crisp, contemporary style with up-to-date installations, warming wood interiors combining comfort with simplicity. Zimmer und Hotel sehr ansprechend. Schade allerdings, dass sich der Eingangsbereich und einige Etagen gerade im Umbau befinden. Wir hätten gerne morgens oder abends in der Hotelbar gesessen. Ansonsten ist das Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis sowie die Lage sehr gut.

The location of my room was excellent: view on Paris roofs and the magnificent St.Vincent de Paul church towers.
Hotel staff: outstanding.
The condition of the carpeting leaves, however, much to be desired.

Leider wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes das Hotel renoviert. Es roch stark nach Lösungsmitteln auf der 2.Etage und die Decken waren unverschlossen, man konnte die Leitungen und Kabel erkennen.

A very well managed hotel: The staff were very polite and considerate. Breakfast is superb! A guest guide to walking the complex surrounding streets would be helpful (to avoid noisy traffic and dog messes!)
