The apartment is located in a secure 6 floor building just 2 minutes' stroll from metros Stalingrad (lines 2, 5 and 7), and Jaures (lines 5 and 7b). By car, the nearest entrance to Paris via the Peripherique ring road is Porte de la Chapelle, approximately 10 minutes' drive to the apartment (traffic permitting). The rail station Gare du Nord lies 10 minutes away on foot for RER regional train services to and from Charles de Gaulle airport. Modern, well-maintained and simply furnished, with 1 bedroom containing 2 single beds, fully equipped kitchen and complete bathroom, parquet floors throughout and also has an exterior balcony facing the canal below where you can enjoy views of the city skyline downstream. A sofa bed in the communal area sleeps 2 persons, and there is a fold-away bed that can accomodate 1 child as requested. (NB: reservations for 5 adults are not accepted, the apartment is for use by a couple, a group maximum 4 adults or family of up to 5 persons). Parking is available on-site. The Quai de la Seine hosts antiques and food markets throughout the week, and offers a selection of cafés, restaurants plus the MK2 cinema and restaurant complex just 50 metres from the apartment. On the same side of the quay you can take a "péniche" river boat trip along Canal Saint Martin. Experience Paris as a Parisian in a vibrant multicultural community, take a break in the quintessentially Parisian cafés and "brasseries" where you can eavesdrop on the city.
On foot, the charming Butte de Chaumont park is around 5 minutes away. You can get to the Sacré Coeur and Montmartre in around 10 minutes. By metro, the Louvre, Châtelet, Île-de-la-CIté and Nôtre Dame cathedral are a 15 minute journey. You can step out on the Champs Elysées and access the area around the Eiffel Tower in around 20 minutes .
