We stayed in a petit cosy room with an ensuite bathroom (which we hadn't booked at first, but got a chance to change it when we came and it was deffinitelly worth the extra 5 euros) and a window with a nice view to the street (especially at night). I really enjoyed the hotel's charming atmosphere, which compensated for little inconveniences of an old building (not too much space, the only electric socket was in the bathroom, water in the shower either freezing or burning hot, nothing in between)and somehow we were not able to connect to the wireless network as promised. But both bed and bathroom were clean, people at the reception very nice, and we had absolutelly no problems with the booking, all was simple, fast and I would say the place is very safe to stay in. The best thing about the location was the metro, which was just across the street, but apart from that we didn't spend much time there... if you want to have a diner out, do some shopping or wonder around the "real" Montmartre, you would choose a different spot. Overall, the hotel is ideal for young people or a couple, it will deffinitely complement their charming stay in Paris.
