The Studio Hôtel is a cosy 2 star establishment in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, in the southwest of the city, next to the beautiful Convention centre. This is a nice quiet zone, very Parisian, with great connections on public transport to any corner of the city. The centre is just a few minutes by metro. You can be wandering around the Place de la Concorde, the Tuileries Garden, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower which is just a few steps away. Great location - lively and vibrant point of the city but quiet at night. Hotel room and bathroom small and a little worn out (e.g. towel hangers not very solidly bolted to wall) but very clean and tidy. Air conditioning was OK, bed was very comfortable, bathroom had a hairdryer. All receptionists I met during our stay (five or so) spoke English well. No problem with check-in (possible 24 hours a day) or payment by credit card. Downsides: barely any wifi signal in room (no problem in the lounge though), hotel kitchen not really accessible for guests (had to ask the receptionist each time I wanted to boil some water to make tea), just one power socket in the room (in bathroom).

My stay at the hotel was very good...you could not ask for more in a hotel staff. I plan to book this hotel during my next stay in Paris.
